The clerk maintains St. Clair County circuit and associate-circuit records plus the municipal records described for Osceola, Lowry City, and Appleton City. Court records can establish a bond order, disposition, sentence, dismissal, warrant action, or probation judgment, but they may not show the exact minute the jail processed an exit.

Federal and Immigration Custody
For a federally sentenced person, start with the BOP Inmate Locator and use BOP FOIA for former-inmate records. For immigration custody, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator or call 1-888-351-4024, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern. A St. Clair County Jail handoff to either authority is a transfer until the receiving system confirms the later status.
